As someone who decided to attend the Hotelschool The Hague/ RSM Erasmus University Masters program as a career change, without previous experience in the hospitality industry; I must say the course is a wonderful introduction to the hospitality and service industries, as well as an excellent opportunity to hone management skills, and gain general business knowledge.

The small classes, comprised of people from around the world, provide an enriching multi-cultural learning experience. To spend the year in class studying, discussing, and working on projects with such a diverse group of students and professors gives each student the chance to expand their world view, and obtain new perspectives on how the global hospitality industry operates.
The module-based schedule is set at a good pace and logically builds on the previous module course of study. Throughout the year, the professors, staff and guest lecturers are accessible and helpful. The expanse of information available to us in the libraries of the Hotelschool The Hague and RSM Erasmus University makes studying and doing research really simple, and it is nice to be affiliated with both institutions.
Living in The Hague is a terrific part of the program. It is a very international city with beautiful architecture and nature. The two holiday breaks during the year (winter and spring) were great opportunities to explore Europe, and our study trip to Berlin, Germany was fun, educational and a good networking opportunity to meet with people in the hospitality industry.
