RSM once again stamps authority on top 10 European Business School ranking

Rotterdam, December 6th, 2010 – The results of the Financial Times Metaranking of European Business Schools were published today ( see the FT rankings table).

Based on all FT rankings of 2010, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, climbs from a 7th position in 2009 to a 6th place, once again stamping its authority on its claim to a place inside the top 10. The survey used all criteria from each of the FT rankings conducted in 2010: 20 criteria from the MBA ranking, 17 from its Executive Education custom programmes ranking, 16 from the European Masters in Management ranking and 16 from the EMBA ranking. The overall European Business Schools ranking itself is based on indexed scores behind the individual rankings. It is not a simple aggregate of the ranking positions.

We have distinguished ourselves by taking full advantage of the Bologna accord, recognising and fostering student mobility. Our unique approach to leadership, our broad portfolio and our international focus have helped us to remain firm, well within the top 10 ranking amongst Europe’s top schools. In view of the changing market, it will be a challenge to keep this ranking in the future, and even more to yet improve our position. But I’m confident that we have all the assets to do so.”
