Study Trip 2010 - Croatia
The study trip abroad is a fixed part of the Master Program. In relation to a theme every year the participants visit a different foreign destination where they visit various organizations. Our trip was planned to research the development of tourism after the war of independence in the early nineties in Croatia. In May the participants will work on a project for Haiti and the recovery of tourism and hospitality industry over there. Although the disasters of Croatia and Haiti are not similar, they both face the challenge of (re)building a sustainable and economical industry.
