Final Integration Assignment for KICZ

In the last part of the theoretical program, MScHM participants are required to complete a team integration assignment. This year the assignment combined 3 leading themes of this year: hospitality, blue ocean and health.

The project sponsor of this years’ integration project was KICZ. KICZ is a cluster of commercial and non-commercial organizations located in West-Brabant area (NL). This cluster is primary focused on creating market space for the care economy and improving the quality of care within the region.

All 5 groups had to come up with innovative solutions and ideas for one of the five research themes from a hospitality perspective. The 5 themes were;

1.       Independent care: How to improve independency among elderly people?

2.
Small-scale living and care: How to stimulate contact between the patient and the local environment?

3.
The care chain: How to make the care chain more efficient and effective?

4.       Employment in the care industry: How to attract young talent and organize care in a better way?

5.       Wellness and care: How can West-Brabant profile itself as region for care tourism and - recreation

During the official Kick-off of KICZ on May 27 our students presented there concepts to industry experts via a self created market stall.

The students have received many positive and constructive reactions and expressed that their knowledge and hospitality minded approach could really add value to current and future Health Care challenges.

RTV Brabant made a short video which can be seen on youtube (for dutch speaking people only).
