Master of Science by the NVAO (Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organization)

From September 9, 2008 on our Master in Hospitality Management program qualifies as Master of Science according to the Dutch Law on Higher Education. From that date on graduates can use the title MSc.
The Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO) independently ensures the quality of higher education in both the Netherlands and Flanders by assessing courses and granting certificates, contributing to improving quality. Additionally, NVAO contributes to increasing quality awareness within the higher education arena, improving the positioning of higher education in a national and international perspective. www.nvao.net

AACSB Accreditation 

AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business, has officially extended the international accreditation of all of RSM’s pre- and post experience programmes for a period of five years, including the Master in Hospitality Management program as of September 2008.
 
The AACSB  is an association of more than 1,100 educational institutions, businesses and other organizations in 70 countries that are dedicated to the advancement of business education worldwide. AACSB International is the longest serving and largest global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting. The association also is the business education community’s professional development organization, conducting a wide array of conference and seminar programs at various locations around the world. www.aacsb.edu

EQUIS Accreditation
In June 2009, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) has once again been accredited by EQUIS.

RSM is one of 117 EQUIS-accredited business schools in 34 countries worldwide. At the start of EQUIS in 1998, RSM was one of the 19 pioneer schools launching the EQUIS accreditation procedures and received a full accreditation period of five years. Following that inaugural accreditation in 1998, RSM was re-accredited in 2003 for a further five years. After another five years, RSM has just had confirmation of its third five-year EQUIS accreditation.

EQUIS is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) is part of the European Foundation for Management Development EFMD, a Brussels-based organisation that seeks to improve education and research in the field of business and management.
