Then our Master of International Hospitality Management Programme is ideal for you. It will help you define future business opportunities and design innovative solutions for the hospitality and service industry.
Building on 11 years of Master Education experience, Hotelschool The Hague will launch this new Master’s programme in February 2014. The Master’s has been designed to deliver the next generation of hospitality leaders and focuses on hospitality concept innovation, business development and change.
The programme runs for 13 months. In this time you will enhance your knowledge and leadership competencies, providing you with the tools and perspectives necessary to forge your own strategy and implementation scenarios for your future career.
On completion of the programme, Hotelschool The Hague will award you the diploma and degree title ‘Master in Hospitality Management’ (M.HM).
This master programme is accredited by NVAO (Dutch Flemish Accreditation Organisation)

Your profile
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field. It is also possible you hold a non-hospitality related economics or business Bachelor’s or Master’s. You want to broaden your horizon and you have a genuine ambition to contribute to hospitality innovation in the wider context of the service industry.
You are open-minded, ambitious, creative and always searching for new challenges, all of which will help you to become a future hospitality innovator.
You also like to be around, interact with and learn from ambitious students from different international, experiential and cultural backgrounds.
Programme structure
Small classes with a maximum of 25 students guarantee personal contact with the faculty and interactive, stimulating discussions. The programme creates and sustains an action oriented learning environment of creative, analytical and conceptual thinking where men and women from different origins learn together.
The year is divided into 5 blocks, each of 10 weeks. Each block addresses a number of courses which are based on inspirational, professional assignments and are supported by guest lectures, field trips and workshops.
A study trip abroad also forms part of the programme. A Master’s thesis is the final product of this programme.
Faculty
Our inspiring faculty consists of leading academic specialists, successful hospitality business entrepreneurs, and highly-rated trainers and/or coaches from Hotelschool The Hague, other universities and the industry.
The Master’s programme creates a close-knit community of students, faculty and industry members. A satellite board of dedicated and motivated hospitality leaders exchange ideas and advise the community on future directions.

How to apply
Each prospective candidate has to successfully pass a selection procedure in order to be accepted to the programme.
All admission requirements are listed on the first page of the application form, which can be downloaded from this website by clicking the button ‘apply now’.
After the initial screening, based on the application form and supporting documentation, a personal interview will be scheduled with the selected candidates prior to the selection board’s final decision.
Applications will be processed continuously and interviews are conducted throughout the year. We advise people who require a visa to apply at least 2,5 months before the start of the programme.
Costs
The tuition fee for the programme is €18,750.
The fee includes courses, guest lectures, workhops, a study trip abroad and access to all the Hotelschool The Hague facilities. Additional costs are literature (appr. €500,-), visa (if needed) and costs of living.
